Announced by the United Nations, it is celebrated on 20^th June to commemorate the approval in 1951 of the Geneva Convention relating to the Status of Refugees. Every year, the World Refugee Day remember the strength, the courage and the perseverance of millions of refugees, with the aim of contributing to peace and their security.
