On November 30 in Rome, FOCSIV organizes the event “Volunteers for sustainable development: climate change and resilience”, a day that aims to celebrate and promote the importance of the climate commitment of many volunteers in Italy and abroad.

Core of the event will be the Round Table on “Climate justice: the contribution of international cooperation and civil commitment of the territories“,  attended by the following experts:

• Grammenos Mastrojeni , Secretary General for Energy and Climate Action
  of the Union for the Mediterranean
• Chiara Soletti , Coordinator of the Women’s Rights and Climate Section of Italian Climate
  Network
• Francesca Novella , Policy Office FOCSIV that will present the project “Territorires engagés pour la résilience des oasis” and the importance of youth mobilization in the territories.

At the end of the event, the winner of the non-professional photo contest #TERO, in which young people between 17 and 35 years old from Europe and the Maghreb participated, will also be awarded. The pictures were inspired by the theme of #ClimateAction, namely inspired by volunteering experiences and climate commitment.
