During the two years of the project, the Association Oasis Ferkla pour l’Environnement et le Patrimoine (AOFEP) mobilized, trained and sensitized young oasis volunteers on environmental issues related to climate change and fires in the oases. This has resulted in the creation of a platform of young oasis leaders to encourage the exchange of information, the sharing of experiences, and the implementation of advocacy for oasis issues in Morocco.

On Saturday 01 February 2020 in Rabat, AOFEP in collaboration with France Volontaires, organized a national event to strengthen the networking among all actors involved, to disseminate the learning achievements from the project, and to promote the mobilise youth towards climate change adaptation, in the framework of the TERO project.

The event was an opportunity to exchange the experiences acquired during the project activities, as well as to disseminate the values promoted during the project, and to involve local, national and international stakeholders on the issue of climate change risks.
During this event the young volunteers testified what the project has brought to them and what they have brought to the project and all of them reiterate their commitment to continue in the same direction. They added that this kind of workshop is useful and  disseminate the learning achievements of local volunteers within the projet , especially during the youth campus organized in Tunisia by ASOC.

This meeting was marked by the presence of various national and international stakeholders, namely the organizer AOFEP, France Volontaires, the Association of Teachers of Life and Earth Sciences (AESVT), the World Commission on Environment and Development (WCED), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the Association of Young Researchers Er-Rachidia (AEC), the Association Chantiers et Cultures (ACC), international experts and the national press.
